Pulicha keerai is one of the most favorite and well-known recipe. It is very easy to cook, and consist of essential nutrients like vitamin A, vitamin B1 (thiamin), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B9 (folic acid) and vitamin C. Also rich in calcium, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, flavonoids, anthocyanins and polyphenolic acids. Taking the leaves in our diet provides many health benefits such as promote digestive health, increase iron production, improves heart health, increase immunity level, and many more.

Ingredients:
- Pulicha keerai
- Brinjal - 1
- Onion - 1 big
- Ginger garlic paste - 1-2 tbsp
- Green and red chilies - as required for spicy
- Sesame oil - 3-4 tbsp
- Salt - as required
- Add oil in a heated pan. Then add onion, ginger garlic paste, and chilies, and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
2. Cut 1 brinjal in small size and add into the pan. Mix it well and coon for 4-5 minutes.
3. Once brinjal almost cooked, add pulicha keerai, mix well (if cannot mix, let it shrink a bit and then can mix), add salt and cook for 3-4 minutes.
4. Then cook in slow flame for another ~2minutes, like in the picture below.
5. Remove from stove, and blend it after cool down in thick consistency. Now it's ready to eat with rice.
